You Are:

UST is looking for a mainframe lead who has extensive experience in Mainframe development and maintenance projects. The candidate should have significant experience in Healthcare Claims domain. The candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability and collaborate effectively with domain and technical experts in the team.

 

The opportunity:

·       Maintains active relationships with customers to determine business requirements and leads requirements gathering meetings.

·       Participates in PI planning and Scrum calls for agile projects

·       Owns the change request process and may coordinate with other teams as necessary. Develops and owns list of final enhancements.

·       Develops and defines application scope and objectives and prepares technical and/or functional specifications from with programs will be written.

·       Performs technical design reviews and code reviews.

·       Ensures unit test is completed and meets the test plan requirements, system testing is completed and system is implemented according to plan.

·       Assesses current status and supports data information planning.

·       Coordinates on-call support and ensures effective monitoring of system.

·       Maintains technical development environment.

·       Mentors others and may lead multiple or small to medium sized projects.

·       Facilitates group sessions to elicit complex information on requirements clarification, design sessions, code reviews and troubleshooting issues.

·       Supports vendor evaluation.

 

This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.

 

What you need:

·       Ability to review project proposals, evaluate alternatives, provide estimates and make recommendations.

·       Expert level experience with business and technical applications, or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

·       8+ Years’ experience in designing, developing, testing, and deploying COBOL, SQL, JCL, IMS DB/DC, DB2.

·       Expert with Mainframe, SOA services and Mainframe integration. Hands-on experience in TSO/ISPF, Endevor, File Manager, File Manager IMS utility, File Manager DB2 utility, SDSF, IOF, TABLE BASE, Fault Analyzer, IBM Debug.

·       Expertise in Healthcare Claims, Provider/Pricing Domain.

·       Knowledge in PEGA will be good.

·       Advanced analytical capabilities.

·       Well versed in JIRA and Confluence.

·       Understands the Agile concept and hands-on experience working on Agile projects is preferred

·       Experience working in application maintenance support and understands the ITIL processes

·       Incumbent should also have the ability to mentor others, lead multiple projects and provide troubleshooting support.

·       Multi-dimensional required. Multi database and/or multi language preferred.

·       Preferred USC/GC holders.

·       Should have very Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to solve a wide range of difficult problems.

·       Strong communication skills: - written and oral.

 

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.

Role Location: Georgia

Compensation Range:   $108,000-$163,000

Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as the following Company-paid Employee Only benefits: basic life insurance, accidental death and disability insurance, and short- and long-term disability benefits. Regular employees may purchase additional voluntary short-term disability benefits, and participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA) as well as a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for healthcare, dependent child care, and/or commuting expenses as allowable under IRS guidelines. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.
