As an Infrastructure Engineer II at JPMorgan Chase within the Mainframe and Midrange (MMC) Team, you will be responsible for planning, designing, installing, configuring, and supporting a highly resilient and stable Mainframe network infrastructure. You will employ automated scripting where feasible and use your Mainframe Networking sysprog skills. You will have the opportunity to work with software-promotion systems management using various scripting languages and develop software systems to solve complex problems through automation tools. Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Formal training or certification on infrastructure disciplines concepts and 2+ years applied experience Proficient knowledge of hardware, networking terminology, databases, storage engineering, deployment practices, integration, automation, scaling, resilience, and performance assessments General knowledge of one specific infrastructure technology and moderate proficiency in relevant scripting languages (e.g., Scripting, Python, etc.) Develop Mainframe Network Toolkits with the help of NetMaster, NetView, Rexx & CLISTS Maintain Mainframe Network Components: TCP/IP including DVIPA configurations, IPSEC, IPFILTER, Intrusion Detection Services (IDS), Enterprise Extender (EE), SNA, VTAM, APPN, OSA connectivity interface to face Core Provide logical connectivity between applications and mainframe systems Performance tuning & Development of operational procedures Support TCP/IP encryption methods (IPSEC, AT-TLS, and TLS) and monitoring of protocols and cyphers aligned to company policies Have knowledge on Network Monitoring tools (Omegamon, Mainframe Tracing, Sniffers)
