We're seeking a Mainframe Programmer for a client in Central Illinois for a long-term contract opportunity for the right person. Responsibilities: + Work in an enterprise environment with the ability to do new COBOL development as well as to trouble shoot production problems and follow corporate policies and procedures to fix, test and deploy fixes into a production environment. Required: + 5+ years’ experience as a COBOL developer/mainframe systems analyst. + COBOL, DB2, CICS, SQL. + Experience using Endevor, TSO/ISPF, File-aid, Abend-aid. Nice to have: + Knowledge in Assembler coding, IMS databases.
