Maint/Engineering Coordinator (Maintenance Planner)

Overview Maint/Engineering Coordinator Responsibilities Development of appropriate routine maintenance schedules Main Custodian of all Engineering documentation and the Engineering Library to ensure accurate and efficient information retrieval Communicate and train maintenance and production personnel in the maintenance procedures Integration of maintenance activities with production plans Forward planning of manpower and materials for planned work and ensuring that those resources are marshalled in readiness Accurate estimation of maintenance work in relation to duration, priority, skills requirements, spares, special tools and equipment, specialist services, and identification of appropriate material requirements Monitoring of maintenance operating system KPI’s, and trends and define maintenance performance measures Identification of critical equipment and spares Implementation of an effective safety and environmental maintenance program Regular scheduled task reviews and update Auditing of task completion Analyze major equipment losses and breakdowns Maintain plant Inventory records and machine histories and machine numbering Propose improvement recommendations Monday-Friday from 7:00am to 4:00pm with overtime as needed. Qualifications Minimum 3 years within Maintenance Planning Strong knowledge of engineering concepts, including electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications and schematics Effective interpersonal and written communication skills Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectively Excellent organizational and prioritization skills Technical abilities to resolve complex engineering plant breakdowns Ability to read maintenance manuals and Engineering Drawings (P&IDs, SLDs, Isometric, etc) Ability to work weekends and overtime is required Planning bakcground SAP background Maintenance background Budgeting background EEO Statement All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, or disability status.
