Maintenancce Supervisor
Position Summary
Supervises the troubleshooting, repair, maintenance and installations of plant equipment, and tools.  As well as maintain, replace, build, adjust and modify the facilities, buildings and the grounds in non-emergency and emergency situations. Observes all safety regulations and ensures quality standards are met while maintaining the efficient flow of product through the production process. Coordinates maintenance work and provides maintenance training. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duties assigned to best serve the company.

Position Responsibilities:
•    Maintain preventative maintenance schedules for all company equipment through electronic maintenance tracking system.
•    Perform repairs or oversee scheduled contractor repairs of company equipment. 
•    Fabricate structures and equipment to be safe and functional.
•    Monitor facility for any food safety, quality issues, or occupational safety concerns.
•    Maintain safe, clean, and organized work area always. 
•    Follow all policies and procedures on safety, cleanliness, and BRC/FDA regulations. 
•    Assist in other areas of plant operations as necessary.
•    Performs other related duties as assigned by management. 

Physical setting 
•    Inside and outside. 
•    Warehouse and agriculture setting. 

Skills
•    Understanding of agriculture, warehouse, and manufacturing equipment
•    Acquire and maintain a CDL
•    Maintain a valid Drivers license
•    Understanding of food safety and quality guidelines
•    Ability to operate Powered Industrial Trucks
•    Ability to climb grain bins
•    Ability to communicate in English, both spoken and written
•    Able to handle multiple tasks
•    Must be self-directed and able to complete tasks with minimal supervision
•    Must have excellent time management skills, be able to prioritize work, and problem solve    
•    Ability to lift in excess of 50 pounds throughout an 8 hour shift
•    Ability to lift above shoulder level
•    Ability to bend, stoop, and twist
•    Ability to tolerate fluctuating seasonal temperature conditions
•    Must be able to stand for 8-12 hours a day with adequate breaks
