The Maintenance, Reliability & Utility Manager is responsible for leading maintenance team to ensure that the facilities, layout, and machinery used to produce new and existing materials and goods run to their maximum efficiency and output. This includes total preventative maintenance, managing breakdowns of mechanical, electrical, and equipment including people management and budgetary/cost reporting.
Core Responsibilities:
Strategy and Development – Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice maintenance vision, strategy, policies, processes, and procedures to aid and improve operational performance.
General and Task Management – Manage and lead the team to ensure machine availability, reactively managing dysfunctional machinery, utility with the Shift management. Ensuring the optimization of equipment according to standard procedure, enhancing performance and product quality. Lead all the maintenance procedures and activities. Be it adhering to safety regulations, to ensuring timely completion, a maintenance head works around the facility of the plant. Ensuring proper maintenance of the equipment and place reliability strategy include physical assets control of the plant.
People Management – Manage, coach, and develop a high performing Maintenance team that meets agreed objectives, and which delivers best practice results, added value and continuous improvements.
Financial and Budget control – Manage the budgets of the maintenance plans and ensure that everything is in line with legal and safety regulations.
Qualified candidates will have:
Mandatory requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or any other relevant engineering field
Must have experience in food & beverage or chemical manufacturing industry
Possess a Senior Personal Responsible Energy for Factory Designed Certification is an added advantage
Extensive experience in maintenance and problem solving at plant level
Has good people skills and ability to drive change management at all levels
Experience in TPM/ WCM, especially PM and AM
Ability to influence and work with stakeholders from all levels
English fluency, both written and spoken
Required behaviors and skills:
Ability to manage a variety of cross-functional stakeholders
Good organisational skills.
Competent in problem solving, planning and decision making.
