ADM - Milling
This is a full time, hourly position.

Job Summary:
Under general supervision builds, maintains and repairs production equipment for all departments as required.

Essential Job Functions:Participates actively in safety and skills training in pursuit of personal improvementMaintains a thorough knowledge of production processes, equipment and operations in the interest of diagnosing and repairing equipment malfunctionsPerforms preventive maintenance duties on equipment as required and maintains an competent knowledge of equipment, operations and processes throughout the plantDisassembles and diagnoses mechanical failures and performs repairs on production and facilities equipment as requiredInstalls new equipment as required, aligns, rebuilds and performs preventative maintenance duties as necessaryPossess general computer use knowledgeMaintains manuals of replacement parts, specifications, blueprints of equipment and maintenance requirements to facilitate repairs also maintains such files and records in an orderly manner for future referencePerforms welding or general maintenance duties as required in repairing production equipmentMay provide work direction to less experienced Maintenance Technicians as requiredDocuments time spent, work performed and parts used on projects by completing time records through use of the Maintenance Management SystemConducts regular inspections of tools, safety and production equipmentDevelops and maintains knowledge of hand and power tools used in the repair and maintenance of plant equipmentGood regular and prompt attendance recordMay perform reasonably similar or related duties as required.Assists in keeping the department in tour ready condition.Preferred Education & Experience:Prefer a minimum of 1-3 years of Industrial or commercial mechanical experience and/or two (2) year degree (Required)Must successfully complete all ADM Safety Certification requirementsBasic knowledge of process equipmentGood regular and prompt attendance historyExcellent safety record and awarenessPrevious plant/process experienceExperience in any of the following areas is a preferred:Welding (Certification)Metal fabricationMechanical Auto/Diesel/Machinist/Millwright (setting up and aligning new equipment)Preventative and Predictive Maintenance, Mobile Equipment (forklift or manlift)Rigging, chokers and slingsAdditional Skills:Good organizational and communication skills, and must be self-motivatedAbility to work well with others and with little supervision – (Required)Willingness to assume and learn new responsibilitiesHousekeeping and sanitation skills (MSS)Willingness to work overtime when necessaryAttention to detail and accurate record keeping skillsWorking Conditions:Shift workMay be called in to work unusual or extended schedules due to equipment breakdowns or similar circumstancesWorking with numerous types of machines and processesIndoor and outdoorClimbing stairs frequentlyLiftingJob Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.73 - $30.77 per hour
