What will you do? Lead and manage the maintenance team to ensure effective and efficient maintenance operations. Develop and implement maintenance strategies, policies, and procedures to minimize downtime and maximize equipment reliability. Plan and schedule preventive maintenance activities to maintain equipment in optimal condition. Troubleshoot and resolve complex maintenance issues to minimize production interruptions. Plans and provides for adequate supply and ensures control over spare parts and maintenance supplies (Inventory management). Provide engineering expertise and technical support to production processes and equipment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement engineering solutions that improve production efficiency, quality, and safety. Manage engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Promote a culture of safety among maintenance and engineering staff through training, awareness, and adherence to safety protocols. Develop and manage the maintenance and engineering department budget. Optimize resource allocation and utilization to achieve cost-effective maintenance operations. Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements in maintenance and engineering activities. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability, reduce waste, and improve overall plant performance. Implement lean manufacturing principles and best practices in maintenance and engineering processes. What will you need to be successful? Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. A professional certification (e.g., CMRP) is a plus. Proven experience (7+ years) in maintenance and engineering management within the food manufacturing industry or a similar fast-paced production environment. Strong technical knowledge of food processing equipment, utilities, and facilities maintenance. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and develop a team. Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across functions and levels within the organization. Spanish and experience with SAP are a nice to have. Compensation DataThe typical hiring range for this role is $105,129 to $159,134 annually and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc. In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements).
