Summary

Maintenance and Operation Technician I will perform operation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair for electrical and mechanical equipment. This position will effectively help the lead man in performing maintenance of total property and equipment on remote wellhead platform (WHP). This position will be working at the gulf of Thailand.

Principle Responsibilities and Duties

Assist in repair and operate of all remote Wellhead Platform (WHP) shop equipment within Work Order Management (WOM) and cost guidelines, while maintaining a minimum amount of down time and within work order due date.

Assist in basic preventative maintenance as directed and under Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) or Job Cards.

May assist in maintaining Operation Duty Routine Check (ORDC) and facilities cleanliness.

Assist in completing necessary facility documentation and work orders as directed by team leader.

Assist in all areas of maintenance and operation as assigned.

Qualifications

A High Vocational or bachelor’s degree in Electrical or equivalent combination of education and experience in Electrical and/or Instrument system

Minimum 3 years related experience in Electrical and/or Instrument system

1-2 years of experience in offshore petroleum industry 

Physical Requirements

Require Requires frequent climbing of stairs, ladders, or scaffolding for inspection and repair, while maintaining balance with assistance.

Must communicate and respond effectively to coworkers, customers, and emergency signals in person, by phone, or mobile device.

Must be able to frequently lift at least # 5pounds (hand carry)

Require work in outdoor and/or offshore conditions,

Require work on loud environment.

Require moving and maintaining self in different positions stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces.

Position requires travel by boat or helicopter for crew change.

Position requires employee work as a rotation of 3 weeks on and 3 weeks off in one location and changeable.
