As a Maintenance Assistant with Vancouver Coastal Health you will:

Perform clerical and secretarial functions for the department.Update information into the departmental maintenance management database and compile regular reports for decision-making purposes, type technical and non-technical materials using current spreadsheet and wordprocessing computer applications, arrange meetings, maintain departmental stationary and supplies levels, and perform a variety of other clerical functions as required.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

Grade 12, graduation from a recognized secretarial program plus three (3) years’ recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Knowledge & Abilities

Ability to keyboard at 50 w.p.m.Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.Ability to deal with others effectively.Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.Ability to organize work.Ability to operate related equipment. Closing Statement
