SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:

Provides support to the maintenance department by ensuring efficient operations through inventory management, job planning support, and system updates.

Assist with purchasing and receiving of maintenance parts and suppliesManage and update the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)Organize and store incoming parts in designated inventory areasMaintain an accurate and up-to-date parts inventoryConduct regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracyManage maintenance parts requests from mechanics in a timely mannerAssist with job planning scheduled maintenance workCreate, assign, and monitor work orders through the CMMSCoordinate with vendors and service contractors as neededMaintain accurate maintenance records and documentationPrepare reports and documentation as neededAdministrative work for Maintenance Manager as requiredAny other tasks or duties as assigned

EDUCATION:  

Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field

Required:  High School diploma or equivalent

SKILLS:

Required:

Strong organizational skills and attention to detailProficient in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.  Familiarity with inventory systems and CMMS is a plus Effective communication skills and a collaborative attitudeAbility to lift and move parts and supplies as requiredForklift certified is a plus
