Performs routine and specific maintenance services which may include grounds work. Performs general maintenance and repair to facility and equipment which may involve plumbing, painting and mechanical equipment repair or similar. Act as back-up for call person in case of emergency, respond timely and appropriately. Sets up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software. Handle all equipment in a safe manner to prevent accidents and demonstrate good working knowledge of tools and their safe use. Follow preventive maintenance schedule / instruction and complete reports, as requested.  

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to demonstrate competency, knowledge, skills, and ability to meet the minimum requirements for this position. Knowledge of general building maintenance and repair requirements. General IT knowledge High School diploma or GED required 2 – 5 years’ experience in a hospital / facility preferred.
