Job Advert Location Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Priory Adultcare Specialist Homes. We are hiring a maintenance assistance to join our dedicated team.
You will be working across three Cardiff homes - Avalon situated in Pontcanna, Beechley Drive situated in Fairwater and Princes Street situated in Roath. These settings are specialist residential homes for adults with either a primary diagnosis mental health and/or an associated learning disability. A unit vehicle will also be provided.
We require an all-round handy person to help with daily tasks in and around our residential settings. Experience of working in this position within healthcare would be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:
Conducting routine inspections of our premises and equipment Conducting Health and safety checks
Performing preventative maintenance
Handling basic repairs and maintenance
Overseeing contractors when professional repairs are necessary
Repairing equipment, or structures as necessary Maintaining the quality of the homes within painting/ decorating
Use of common tools such as hammers, saws, drills, sanders and wrenches
What we are looking for:
A willingness to learn and work well with good attendance, punctuality and people skills required.
DBS check and references to be obtained prior to starting A current driving license is essential. Some knowledge within internet skills to raise any jobs through our Gleeds portal and to complete essential Priory Academy e-Learning.
