Ebenezer offers a robust compensation package for Maintenance Assistants with excellent benefits and wages starting from $18.65 - $24 / hour. Wage determinations will be based on related experience.

We are looking for a Maintenance Assistant to support our senior living community. This maintenance position is responsible for supervising preventative maintenance programs and repairs building systems and equipment and grounds keeping for the Senior Assisted Living community in Bloomington, MN

* NO boilers license required.

 

This full-time repairs/grounds/maintenance position includes the following : 

80 hours in two weeks

Day shift

One weekend per month

Responsibilities/Job Description Repairs and maintains work orders for residents' individual living apartment homes and community spacesKeeps grounds and walkways free from obstructions including snow removal, and operating motorized grounds equipmentMonitors and performs basic repairs to HVAC, security, safety, electrical and plumbing equipmentApartment turnoversDaily safety checks of mechanical systemsReplace fileters and belts as neededRepair of building hardwareSnow removalMoving FurniturePutting away Supplies Qualifications

One to three years previous experience in a similar environment
Vocation/Technical training preferred
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Desire to work with older adults
Boiler's license must be obtained within the first 90 days of employment
Current Driver’s License (in good standing
