Central Florida Communities, Inc. (CFC) has warm, welcoming, home-inspired facilities and programs for individuals with developmental disabilities in Orange, Brevard, Lake and Seminole Counties.
CFC operates three 64-bed Intermediate Care Facilities for the Developmentally Disabled (ICF/DD's), Howell Branch Court, Lake View Court and Washington Square. As a member of our staff, you will be a part of one of these living centers and provide vital around the clock care, which includes nursing and medical oversight, to our residents.

Purpose:
The purpose of this position is to p erform routine maintenance and repair of the facility and equipment to include but not limited to plumbing, plastering, electrical, carpentry, mechanical, and painting.
Essential Duties:
Follow maintenance schedule/instructions as outlined to include on-call duties as required.
Perform routine maintenance on grounds, parking areas and driveways as necessary.
Perform preventative maintenance to include air conditioning, lighting fixtures, electrical appliances, vehicles and mechanical systems.
Demonstrates understanding of, and complies with, all policies related to safety. Performs work safely and without injury to self or others. Identifies hazards or dangerous behaviors in the environment and takes immediate action to avoid, mitigate or eliminate, and report hazardous conditions or unsafe behaviors. Ensures the safety of self, residents/consumers, co-workers, families, guardians and visitors at all times.
Required Qualification:
Must be 21 years of age or older
Must have a Valid Florida Driver License
Preferred Qualifications:
One (1) year of maintenance and general repair experience is preferred.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$21.50 hourly
