Apprentice training in a trade or training gained by the completion of technical courses in a trade at a school or institute may be substituted for the above experience on a year-for-year basis. + Valid NYS Driver's license required. + Candidates are expected to be qualified to use negative pressure respirators. + Ability to work at heights (with proper training) preferred. Operating Needs: + Candidate must demonstrate a basic knowledge of electrical systems. + Candidate must have a basic understanding of HVAC control systems. + Candidate must be able to work at heights (+- 35') and in confined spaces. + Candidate must have computer skills commensurate with the expectations of the position. + Must attend appropriate training and be willing to train others as requested. + Must be able to work overtime if needed and be on an emergency call in list for after hour emergencies.
