Job Description

The Maintenance Team Member will assist the Maintenance Team Leader in inspecting, testing, repairing, and troubleshooting machinery and equipment in the distribution center. Performs minor building repair and construction, i.e., painting, plumbing, carpentry, and welding.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

(65%) Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and repair machinery and equipment

Monitor equipment to detect malfunctionsDiscuss machine operation variations with a supervisor or other team members to diagnose problems and repair machinesInstall and repair electrical devices such as transformers, relays, circuit breakers, starters, and safety and limit switchesLay out, assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipmentInstall, program, and troubleshoot automated machinery and Programmable Logic ControllersInstall, troubleshoot, and repair refrigeration and heating Ventilation Air Conditioning (HVAC)Service and repair material handling equipmentMonitor the main electrical panel and troubleshoot as necessaryRepair/maintain boiler, water heater, water conditioning equipment, and water distribution systemsListen to and timely resolve customer service complaintsMust wear and follow Domino’s Pizza uniform standards

(15%) Assist in following established preventative maintenance guidelines 

Update logs as necessaryReport major problems to supervisor

(20%) Follow procedures related to all safety and government guidelines 

Identify and document safety issues and report to a supervisor, develop a plan of action to resolve concerns, and following-up to ensure the problem is resolvedMonitor machines to ensure all levels are within EPA, OSHA, and other government guideline

QualificationsHigh School Diploma, GED and/or Technical School Training3-4 years related experience, and/or licensed journeyman of a skilled tradeWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office softwareAbility to read and interpret blueprints, mechanical and electrical schematic diagrams; interpret technical instruction and diagrams • Ability to work with minimal supervisionMust be able to work during a shift which may be scheduled anytime during a 24 hour day, over any 7 day periodAbility to work in production/warehouse environment with constant exposure to loud machineryAbility to work in extreme temperatures, both indoor and outdoorsAbility to stand, climb and walk on a continual basis throughout shiftAbility to lift from floor to above the head, to carry materials weighing up to 50 lbs. frequently, and 75 lbs. occasionally
