Under the direct supervision of the Supervisor\/ Manager the facilities maintenance associate is responsible for providing exceptional facilities maintenance related duties.\n
\n

Responsibilities:\n\nPerforms routine maintenance to building facilities through the upkeep of non-technical equipment and building systems.\nProvides routine janitorial and mailroom services as needed\/required at the business site.\nChange filters, lamps, pull computer cabling and other routine facilities support duties.\nIs trained and uses of such equipment as forklifts, power dollies, pallet movers and hijackers on a routine basis.\nProvides non-technical assistance to carpentry, electrical, HVAC and plumbing contractors as requested.\nAssists in the set up and relocation of office equipment throughout the building campus.\nMay assist in coordinating the move of office locations after normal hours to prevent disruption of services to the business unit.\nPhysically breaks down, assembles, and moves equipment, panels and furniture according to instructions from facility planning department.\nInteracts with all levels of the organization.\nResponsible for providing resolution of routine customer service requests and inquiries.\nMaintain a safe and well-groomed external ground area.\nInteracts with all parts of the organization in responding to routine problems and concerns.\nCleans snow and debris from sidewalk and parking lots as needed to prevent accidents.\nMows lawns, trims shrubbery, and cultivates flowerbeds as seasonally appropriate.\nOperates power equipment such as lawnmowers and snow blowers.\nDepending on location worked, may be responsible for routine transportation needs for the facilities department.\nDelivers equipment and supplies throughout the campus and to external locations for pick up on a consistent basis.\nAssists in errands and special projects as required.\nOther duties as assigned\n\n

Qualifications:\n\nAbility to lift 50 pounds\nAbility to be on feet over 75% of the work day, climbs ladders, and kneels on a frequent basis.\nAbility to push\/pull carts, and pallets on a frequent basis that may weigh over 100 pounds.\nFrequent bending and walking throughout large building(s) to ensure necessary work is completed on time and per customer requirements.\n\n
