Job Title
Maintenance Associate IIResponsible for maintaining interior and exterior facility cleanliness; performs minor facility maintenance.Roles and Responsibilities:
• Maintain cleanliness of facility areas including restrooms, lunchrooms, offices, and halls by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, emptying trash etc.
• Perform minor facility maintenance such as replacing lightbulbs, painting, replacing filters, etc.
• Maintain facility exterior by clearing walks, emptying trash receptacles etc.
• Maintain and inventory cleaning supplies, request restock when needed
• Wears required personal protective equipment at all times in areas where mandatory
Job Requirements:
Education:
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
Experience:
• 6 months’ custodial experience
Functional/Technical Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
• Ability to understand and act on verbal and written instructions
• Ability to self-direct work
• Knowledge of hand held power tools and industrial janitorial equipment such as buffers and vacuum
• Must exhibit attention to detail as well as excellent listening skills
• Must be able to work with a diverse variety of people from different cultures and backgrounds
