Maintenance Coordinator: Level I

Maintenance Coordinator I  

  Principal Purpose of Position: 
•    Responsible for the day-to-day performance of the administrative functions for the Maintenance Department.
•    Prepare Power Point Presentations and other presentations when required.
•    File maintenance work orders and other maintenance documents and enter data into work order system.
•    Receive and respond to a high volume of daily requests for either creating new reports or revising existing reports from data extracted from databases.
•    Distribute maintenance schedules or work orders to the department.
•    Requisition materials or supplies from MRO stores as necessary to meet maintenance demands.
•    Arrange for delivery, assembly, or distribution of supplies or parts to expedite flow of materials and meet maintenance schedules.
•    Confer with manager, supervisors, planners/schedulers or other personnel to assess progress and discuss needed changes.
•    Examine documents, materials, or products and monitor work processes to assess Completeness, accuracy, and conformance to standards and specifications.
•    Record Maintenance data for use by department personnel.
•    Calculate figures such as required amounts of labor or materials using calculators or computers.
•    Compile information, such as maintenance work orders and progress, materials inventories, materials used, so that status reports can be completed.
•    Compile and prepare documentation related to personnel schedules, or purchase, maintenance, or repair orders.
•    Maintain files, such as maintenance records or cost reports.
•    Must be able to work in a variety of areas (plant, office).
•    Other duties as determined by department supervisor.
•    Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.


Education and/or Training:  High school degree or equivalent required.


Relevant Work Experience:
•    Must have a minimum of four (4) years administrative background preferably in a manufacturing setting.
•    Preferred experience working with SAP
•    Strong computer skills. 
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office to include Outlook, Word, and Excel,and PowerPoint is required.
•    Self-directed, strong organizational skills, and detail oriented is a must.
•    Ability to have flexibility with changing priorities daily.
•    Must have strong problem solving, teamwork, and excellent communication skills.
