Compensation: $36-$38 per hour
Principal Accountabilities:
Direct accountability, leadership and oversight of maintenance, electrical, electronic and instrumentation craft persons and supplementary outside resources, in some instances, for a Packaging and Terminal facility Execute correct application of Reliability Strategies such as Proactive Work Activities, On-Condition and Predictive Technologies, RCM, Proper Planning and Scheduling Functions, 5S, 5 Why, Kaizen, Precision Maintenance and Cause AnalysisCreate, supervise, manage and coordinate the execution of the daily maintenance schedule ensuring safety, quality and precisionPreparing and ensuring the equipment is ready and all parts, special tools, equipment and permits are available before crafts people are deployedTroubleshoot equipment failures and oversee coordination of proactive and reactive activities on a day-to-day basisReview all completed work orders for completeness and craft feedback as well as possible improvements in repair techniques, materials of construction, or other activitiesCreate, lead, and coordinate daily proactive, reactive and modifications work type and management of formal workflow systemUnderstanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulationsMaintaining a safe and clean work environmentOther duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorshipMust be 18 years or olderAbility to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodationAbility to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance noticeAbility to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)Experience with SAP or a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
Preferred Qualifications:
High school diploma/GED or a minimum of two years equivalent work experienceAble to operate machinery and/or industrial equipmentWorking knowledge of Microsoft office software, with an emphasis on Excel and WordHigh-speed packaging experience and blow-moldingExperience performing maintenance trades such as electrical, machinist, welding, pipefitting, fabrication, rigging systems, gearbox and bearings, lubrication, pump and piping systems, mechanical or hydraulics and pneumaticsTwo years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environmentBasic electrical knowledge (control systems, 230/480V wiring, photoeyes, etc.)
