We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Coordinator to join our team at the Plainview, Texas facility!

What You’ll Do:

Develop and maintain a preventative maintenance program for all farm, plant, and fleet vehiclesIdentify and establish a positive working relationship with vendorsMaintain inventory system for parts, equipment, and maintenance suppliesOversee the daily preventative maintenance of all equipment by training all operators on key maintenance programsRepair equipment as needed either in-house or outsourced as neededDesign and implement an electronic process for maintenance schedule and recordkeepingSupervise others in the performance of maintenance tasksImplement and practice safety programs and policies as needed for all equipment, maintenance activities and by Corteva and OSHA safety practices.Coordinating or performing repairs on Plant Processing equipmentPlan and coordinate workload with external and internal stakeholders and customersTroubleshoot equipment and process lines to ensure business continuitySupervise, evaluate, and mentor reports, ensuring work is performed in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with specified research protocols and regulationsPromote positive work attitudes and harmonious relationsDesign and implement process improvementsEnsure operation of company equipment including electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, control devices, and HVAC, for process and facilityCoordinate electrical repairs and scheduled inspections of equipment, following the prescribed guidelines and proceduresAdhere to all quality systems & safety procedures including Environmental regulations, OSHA, and Process Safety Management (PSM) procedures in everyday work routine

Education:

You have your High School Diploma or equivalent 

What Skills You Need:

You are a guru at understanding and repairing diesel engines, hydraulic systems, welding, and light fabrication workFive (5) years’ experience in troubleshooting equipment and preventative maintenanceYou are willing and able to do the following with or without reasonable accommodation: Climb and/or work in elevated areas, Stand and sit for extended periods, work outdoors and indoors in hot, cold, wet, and dry conditions, lift up to fifty (50) lbs., and perform work that involves repetitive motion and liftingWhen there is a problem, you see an exciting opportunity to troubleshoot so you can find and implement solutionsYou are comfortable with technology and possess good computer aptitude including the use of Microsoft Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), and are willing and able to learn other company specific applications as required  You have high diligence can multitask, maintain an organized workplace and excellent critical thinking skillsYou have good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customersYou enjoy working as part of a larger, culturally diverse group, as well as independently when neededYou are willing and able to travel up to 25%, which includes traveling to other locations and overnight staysYou have a valid US Driver’s LicenseYou understand that delivering to our customers on-time keeps us viable and are willing and able to work a rotating shift and overtime hours, which include nights and weekends during seasonal peaks to support production demand

What Makes You Stand Out:

Two Year Technical or Associates Degree in Mechanics, Operations, Safety, or related fieldKnowledge or experience with LEAN Manufacturing principles such as 5S, Continuous Improvement and Standardized WorkAdvanced knowledge and/or experience with field and/or agriculture and agriculture equipment (plows, tractor, forklift, etc.)
