Job Opportunity: As a Maintenance Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing superior maintenance, clerical and administrative planning services to internal and external customers, with a focus on maintenance technical personnel assigned to operational areas within the manufacturing facility. As a Maintenance Coordinator you will manage the monthly maintenance budget, plan work orders or facility repairs, and perform plant and/or maintenance department day-to-day reviews to ensure that the facility is operating reliably and safely. You will also serve as a liaison between maintenance and production to effectively schedule and coordinate planned maintenance work.

Develop work routines in a manner that assures personal safety and the safety of othersDevelop hands-on knowledge and expertise of production equipment, parts, functions and processes through observation and engaging with employees on the production floor Partner with Maintenance Technicians and Maintenance Supervisors to review work requests and determine feasibility and safety controls for work to be performedCommunicate with production team and maintenance staff to resolve chronic and repeat failures with equipment, provide status updates on maintenance efforts, and gather feedback Participate in production meetings with Maintenance Managers, Planners and Operations Managers to review upcoming work requests, weekly scheduling, and outage planning Obtain certificates of insurance and document sign offs from outside contractors as requiredIdentify parts required for necessary maintenance efforts (preventive maintenance, breakdowns) and procure goods and services such as raw materials, parts, equipment, tools, and suppliesPrioritize work order requests to approve and reject, review complete work orders, and produce schedule for the next day/weekMonitor maintenance schedules to ensure there is no conflict with production schedulesMaintain information and records to prepare or edit purchase orders, filing posting information, and tracking spendManage, maintain and use computerized maintenance management system (JDE) work order system) Enter work order data in support of maintenance activityBackup for Maintenance Manager and Inventory Clerk as neededOther duties as assigned
What you need to succeed:
High School diploma or Bachelor’s degree preferred Minimum of 4 years-experience in a manufacturing industry in both maintenance and operations, with experience in corrugated container preferredMechanical and electrical aptitude
Proven track record of analytical skills that drive decision-makingStrong organization skillsStrong written and verbal communication skills Strong computer literacy skillsDemonstrated ability to adapt and take action in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
