Position Summary
The Maintenance Technician repairs and maintains machinery and production equipment, installs functional and structural parts within the facility. They troubleshoot, test, lubricate, and clean as required. They operate a wide variety of power, pneumatic, and hand tools, as well as precision measuring devices and test equipment. They are cross-functionally trained in both mechanical and electrical trades. The Maintenance Technician will report to the Plant Manager.
Responsibilities
Responsible for maintaining production machinery throughout the facility.Responsible for all facility/ structural maintenance and repairs.Execute and close work orders in a timely manner, including accurate record keeping (equipment history, PM schedules, and down time logs).Comply with all safety procedures (lockout/ tagout, fall prevention, lift and equipment safety, and confined space entry), and works in a constant state of alertness.Provides reports as required by management.Performs other duties as assigned.Experience and Skill Required
High school education or GED required. Additional education or Associate’s degree is preferred, with an emphasis on industrial trades, mechanical, or electrical.Minimum of 3 years experience in industrial mechanical/ electrical maintenance.Expert with a variety of hand, power, and pneumatic tools.Experience with lift equipment, analytical test equipment, and precision measuring devices (micrometers, calipers, and tape measures).General computer skills and understanding how it relates to CNC and PLCBasic math skills, including the ability to read and interpret PNID drawingsAbility to problem-solve, multi-task, and prioritize.Good interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at a time, with accommodation.
