Description: Wicehtowak Frontec Services is seeking a Maintenance Planner to join our team in Jansen, SK. The Maintenance Planner works with the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) database (SAP) to plan and schedule work orders. The Maintenance Planner is also responsible for ensuring that all Work Orders are planned and scheduled on a timely basis and in accordance with contract requirements, company policy, and site requirements.
Where We Work and Live: The Jansen Discovery Lodge is a workforce housing facility in support of the potash mine. The camp is located 155 kilometers east of Saskatoon, SK. Our positions work on 14 days off rotation. Accommodation and meals during your work rotations are provided by the company.
Hourly Wage - $27.00
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain a conciliatory relationship with client, vendors, and maintenance personnel Plan and schedule CM work orders as required. Enter appropriate information on preventive maintenance (PM) schedules, outsourced vendors, available materials, and tools, Coordinate with the site maintenance manager/coordinator for accurate information. Insert the autogenerated PM and unplanned tasks for week 2 to 12 into the existing schedule. Generate, organize, and provide a monthly PM report to the Maintenance Manager/ Supervisor. Liaise with inventory to ensure part availability for upcoming work. As directed, work with the maintenance manager/supervisor to issue purchase orders for materials, tools, or contract work required. Develop and Issue requested management reports as needed. Maintain records and maintenance information in an organized, neat manner that facilitates easy retrieval of information. Attend regular maintenance team and client meetings. Maintain copies of all official correspondence. Provide timely responses to all stakeholders on all requests for information.Qualifications:
The successful candidate must have 5 years of experience in a commercial or light industrial environment in a customer service environment utilizing a CMMS. Experience with SAP is required Project Management experience preferred Must have the ability to multi-task and handle a high volume of work with accuracy, while prioritizing. Must be proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook, and Office 365 Strong oral and written English communication skills. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently or in a group environment. Experience in the use of databases and electronic file management software.
