Ellicott Center is seeking an experienced Maintenance Director for our Skilled Nursing Facility in Buffalo, NY. Director of Maintenance experience in a Healthcare setting strongly preferred!

DUTIES:

Responsible for all maintenance department operations & personnelRegular inspections of the facility, for safety, upkeep, appearance & equipment performanceSupervise and assign maintenance staff responsibilities and schedulesSchedule & ensure completion of all maintenance & repairsProvide oversight of maintenance/repairs & ensure contracted services are completed in a timely fashionMaintains records of all repairs, preventative maintenance, warranties and inspectionsCoordinating department operations, budgets and monitoring expendituresEnsure all maintenance work is in accordance with State/Federal & OSHA standardsMust have ability to be “on call” for emergency situations

REQUIREMENTS:

5 years experience in HVAC, plumbing, electric, carpentry & general maintenancePrior supervisory experience in Healthcare maintenance settingMinimum of a high school diploma or equivalentStrong work ethic, intense drive, initiative for quality serviceSolid computer skills; working knowledge of MS OfficeAbility to multi-task / stay on task & maintain focus in stressful situationsEvidence of solid leadership and supervision skills
