What you will do:
Lead and oversee the safe and effective execution of all DCS and E&I-related maintenance activities throughout the Augusta site, including day-to-day proactive asset care activities, routine corrective maintenance, outages, and turnarounds while following Nutrien’s and industry standards and leading practices. Work closely with the reliability group to ensure appropriate asset care strategies are in place, executed as planned, and are effective in ensuring asset integrity and asset/process reliability. Support the project group in coordination, development, planning and execution of capital and non-routine projects. Supports developing and stewarding to the maintenance budget including routine, outages, turnarounds and non-routine items. Plays a key role in the E&I team’s development through talent attraction, needs assessment, resource development, and goals management.
What you will bring:
Post-high school degree in Industrial Maintenance or electrical-related discipline. Prefer a B.S. in Engineering. Minimum of 7 years’ experience in Electrical & Instrumentation maintenance. Must be skilled with pneumatics, electronic, and digital control systems.
Physical Environment:
Work is frequently in an office setting using electronic tools. Communication via e-mail, letter, contracts, telephone, and conference room meetings. A field presence in the operating units observing work and maintenance activities and collaborating with cross-functional resources is expected.
Exposure to general site hazards and conditions associated with an operating petro-chemical facility should be expected.
