Maintenance Electrician – Hamilton, ON

Our client, a key global manufacturer of farm equipment OEM parts and after-market suppliers, is looking for a Maintenance Electrician. With production plants in Canada, USA, Brazil, Spain, India, and Germany, our client is the market leader in wearable parts, components, accessories, and solutions for tillage, seeding, planting, fertilizing, and harvesting farm equipment. Hourly Wage: $41.02 + COLA ($0.35/hour) + Shift Premium ($1.00/hour)

Shifts: 8-hour Mon-Friday Rotating Shifts (NO WEEKENDS!)

Requirements:

Industrial Electrician Certificate of Qualification (442A or 309A w/ maintenance exp.) North American Manufacturing Experience

Duties and Responsibilities:

Collaborate within a multi-trade team Adhere to plant and safety protocols, utilizing provided personal protective equipment Interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematics for work procedures Inspect, test, dismantle, repair, replace, or adjust faulty parts on wiring on electrical equipment (i.e., switches, circuit breakers, transformers, panel boards) Operate hoisting and lifting devices such as jacks, forklifts, and cranes to position machinery and parts during the installation, set-up and repair of machinery and equipment. Assist in both proactive and reactive troubleshooting and repairs to minimize production downtime. Contribute to the preventative maintenance program by offering improvement recommendations.
