Job Summary:
The Maintenance Electrician 2 is responsible for the repair, maintenance, replacement, installation, and testing of electrical systems, circuits, and equipment under the primary direction of the Facility Maintenance Manager. Additionally, this position will assist with other facility and grounds maintenance as necessary.

Qualifications and Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum 5 years’ experience in electrical trade or related experience required; 7 or more years preferred. Electrical Journeyman license required. Ability to read/interpret and work from blueprints, technical drawings, sketches, or layouts. Ability to operate hand tools, electrical hand tools, power tools, forklifts, aerial equipment and voltage or ampere measuring devices. Ability to work with all levels of personnel within the organization. Ability to work independently as well as a part of a diversified team. Strong math skills, ability to make computations measurements and calculate current values. Sound communication, time management, analytical and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Office products; Excel, Outlook, Word, etc. Demonstrates patience and honesty. Knowledge of infrared guns and data recorders.
Essential Functions:
Model, promote, reinforce, and reward the consistent use of HOLT’s Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools, models, and processes to ensure alignment with our Vision, Values, and Mission. Maintain variety of facility duties such as: air conditioning, plumbing and stationary electrical equipment, as well as assisting with remodeling projects that include carpentry, masonry, painting, covering of floor and ceiling. Install and maintain electrical conduit, circuit breakers, control circuits, electrical wiring, fixtures, relocating electrical services, systems in buildings, new power and lighting. Inspects equipment and diagnosis trouble and/or malfunctions. Responsible for selecting appropriate materials, developing material/supply lists for projects, and placing orders with vendors. Perform semi-skilled and unskilled laboring duties related to the installation Fulfill installations and repairs of electrical wiring. Inspect electrical components such as transformers and circuit breakers. Test electrical systems to ensure proper installation and operation. Maintain tools, vehicles, equipment, and well-ordered parts/supplies. Execute maintenance and repair of a wide variety of electrical systems and equipment ensuring electrical installs comply with electrical codes. Provide timely, and accurate diagnosis of electrical maintenance problems and determine most desirable (time, money responsiveness) method of ensuring repair and maintenance services to maintain facilities. Monitor, evaluate and report ongoing electrical status of facilities, buildings, and equipment. Communicate and build relationships with local LMT’s and outside vendors. Completes all assigned tasks to support team and organizational goals, adapting to changing priorities as needed. Provide with minimum supervision, required electrical repair and maintenance to facilities and equipment on a prioritized scheduled basis to ensure that facilities and equipment meet or exceed operation requirements. Provide additional support and services to company owners and Strategic Business Unit (SBU) Leaders on an as needed basis to accomplish their objectives on projects and activities. Requires regular and punctual employee attendance. Works safely always and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards. Performs other duties assigned.
Travel:
Requires 80% travel. Overnight stays during the week and some weekend work when applicable.
Physical Requirements:
Utilize safety harnesses frequently and Arc flash suits occasionally. Occasionally operate backhoes, skid steers. Frequently moves materials or equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. Constant movement and use of limbs; this position requires good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina. Ascends/descends with gradual or continuous progress by oneself, using both hands and feet and climbs up and down ladders and/or equipment. Routinely reacts to visual, auditory, and other signals, including alarms and instructions, and is required to visually inspect work. Prolonged periods standing, kneeling, bending/crouching, and climbing. Perform sustained overhead reaching.
