We are seeking a skilled and proactive Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team. Due to the secure nature of this role- All applicants must hold or be prepared to undergo National Security Vetting (NSV) Security Check (SC) level .
This role involves regular travel across the UK, responding to the maintenance and repair needs of multiple clients. As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you’ll be essential in ensuring that our client facilities are safe, functional, and compliant with the highest standards. • Managing of requests/quotations via suppliers.
• Install, maintain, modify, repair and troubleshoot / fault find in line with BS 2391.
• Perform general electrical maintenance/ Reactive repair & installs , with a flexible approach to other minor works not within the electrical field. (Fabric / mechanical / carpentry).
• Manage workload to match SLA compliance.
• Maintain service documentation and ensure all records are updated in the CAFM system.
• Oversee and maintain HVAC equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Proactively identify hazards and report them following Health & Safety guidelines.
• Qualified to BS 7671 18th Edition.
• Proficient in BMS, CAFM systems, and knowledgeable about HVAC systems.
• Competent in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
• Previous experience in a similar role, with a good understanding of PPM schedules and facilities management.
• Strong knowledge of Health & Safety regulations, hazard recognition, first aid, and asbestos awareness.
• Valid UK Driving Licence
• Strong time management skills
