Maintenance Electrician
**Job Title: Maintenance Electrician- 2nd and 3rd shift paying up to 85K plus OT!** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Electronics Technician who will be responsible for hands-on maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of PLC systems and all electronic systems. The ideal candidate will diagnose and repair electrical systems, handle work orders through a CMMS system, and program and troubleshoot PLCs, specifically Allen Bradley. The role involves working with various systems including controls, PLCs, robotics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems, as well as assisting with equipment installs and upgrades in the plant. The candidate will also complete preventive maintenance of electronics equipment and be responsible for new equipment installs. **Responsibilities** + Perform hands-on maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of PLC systems and all electronic systems. + Diagnose and repair electrical systems. + Handle breakdowns through a CMMS system. + Program and troubleshoot PLCs, specifically Allen Bradley. + Work with various systems including controls, PLCs, robotics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems. + Assist with equipment installs and upgrades in the plant. + Complete preventive maintenance of electronics equipment. + Troubleshoot and repair systems including press controls, PLCs, robots, electronics systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems. + Responsible for new equipment installs. **Essential Skills** + 2+ years of industrial electronics, PLCs, maintenance electrician, or controls/robotics experience. + Ladder logic experience. + Strong PLC troubleshooting skills, with programming experience. + Controls systems experience, particularly servo control systems. + Ability to dial into a PLC, set up a laptop, and monitor/troubleshoot. **Why Work Here?** Our company offers a salaried position with the benefit of receiving time and a half for any hours worked over 40. We provide generous vacation time, taking into account years of experience in the field. For example, candidates with 8 years of maintenance experience will be hired with 13 days of vacation, plus an extra 2 weeks if they hold a journeyman card. We also offer a $400 annual tool allowance and a tool reimbursement program. Our company culture is positive and proactive, with good opportunities for training and system improvements. The maintenance team has strong tenure, with several members retiring recently and others eligible to retire soon. **Work Environment** This is a direct hire position with openings on the 2nd shift (2 PM to 10 PM) and 3rd shift (10 PM to 6 AM). There is no mandatory overtime currently, but voluntary overtime is available. The facility is a union environment under UAW, but this position is salaried and non-union.
