Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of our equipment and utilities. This role involves troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repair of mechanical, electrical, rotating, and hydraulic equipment, as well as piping systems, vision systems, IT, and Ethernet cabling. Your expertise will help us meet our plant's goals and objectives safely and efficiently.
ResponsibilitiesPerform maintenance and troubleshooting of existing equipment and utilities.Complete work orders and preventive maintenance schedules assigned by the supervisor in a timely manner.Install, repair, and maintain various mechanical, electrical, rotating, and hydraulic equipment.Maintain and troubleshoot plant production equipment, including pumps, valves, and mills used in metal fabrication.Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems and PLCs (mostly Siemens).Weld, braze, cement, and solder piping systems.Lubricate machines and minimize downtime.Document repairs and maintenance activities.Coordinate work with fellow workers.Operate man lifts and forklifts.Sustain kneeling, squatting, climbing stairs with a 20 lb load, ladder climbing, and consistent hand tool usage.Essential SkillsExperience in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.Familiarity with PLC troubleshooting, particularly Siemens.Knowledge of pneumatics and welding.Ability to repair pumps, valves, and industrial equipment components.Experience with mills used in metal fabrication.High school diploma required.Additional Skills & QualificationsMaintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment.Ensure plant compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.Ability to fabricate, assemble, repair, clean, and maintain equipment.Willingness to acquire master certification (company-paid).Ability to travel overseas for training after one year of employment.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
This role operates on the 1st shift from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with the possibility of working two Saturdays per month as needed. The work environment includes exposure to hot and cold temperatures, non-hazardous powder, and solvent smells. You will work in a small team and may frequently be underneath equipment. The production employees are unionized, while the maintenance team is not.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $68640.00
