**Maintenance Electrician** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our rapidly growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for electrical troubleshooting and maintenance of various packaging and food processing equipment, including X-ray machines, blenders, mixers, baggers, labelers, ink jet coders, and heat shrinking machines. Additionally, you will be involved in wiring and installing new machinery, troubleshooting PLCs, and maintaining control systems. **Responsibilities** + Electrical troubleshooting of packaging equipment, X-ray machines, blenders, mixers, baggers, labelers, ink jet coders, and heat shrinking machines. + Electrical troubleshooting and wiring up to 480V motors. + Troubleshooting and repairing Variable Frequency Drives. + Troubleshooting PLCs and using HMI programs. + Wiring and installing new machinery. + Replacing, troubleshooting, and repairing photo eyes. + Working with controls, motor controls, and handling heavy electrical tasks. **Essential Skills** + Electrical troubleshooting and wiring. + PLC troubleshooting and control systems. + Experience with controls systems and electronics. + Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing 480V motors. + Experience with packaging or GMP standards. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in food processing or automation. + Knowledge of PLC troubleshooting, including inputs/outputs. + Ability to edit PLC programs and controls. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $72800.00 - $83200.00 Provides a full list of benefits Medical/Prescription Drug •Dental •Vision •Voluntary Life •Voluntary LTD •Voluntary STD •Critical Illness •Accident **Workplace Type** This is a fully onsite position in Portage,IN. **Application Deadline** This position will be accepting applications until Jan 23, 2025. **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
