Key Responsibilities:
Receive instruction, plan and execute work task
Supervise and assign duties to staff
Maintain, test, troubleshoot, repair and install industrial electrical equipment
Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, adjust and install industrial instrumentation equipment
Maintain, troubleshoot and install power distribution, ccts panel and transformer
Install cable tray, teck cables, EMT and rigid circuits
Read and interpret manufacturer's manuals, circuit diagrams, blueprints, drawings, schematics and Canadian electrical code specifications
Respond to emergency equipment failures
Ensure all work complies with Safety Standards and all Applicable Codes
Develop and follow maintenance procedures for electrical equipment
Organize, coordinate and work with outside contractors and Inspectors
Maintain good working relationship with all co-workers, contractors and customers
Housekeeping; work in an outdoor environment
Knowledge, skills, and competencies;
Must be a Certified Ontario Licensed Electrician 309A or 442
Completion of community college or equivalent specialized trade courses
Proven Supervisory experience preferred
Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
Must be willing to work shifts, and be available for overtime & weekends as required
