Position Overview:

As a part of the talented maintenance team, you will learn the skills and knowledge to become a Journeyworker Electrician by working alongside Journeyworker Electricians and attending schooling at Wisconsin Technical College System. You will assist with various electrical tasks, including installations, repairs, and maintenance, while gaining hands-on experience and understanding of electrical codes and safety regulation.

Essential Functions:

At the end of your four-year apprenticeship, you will be responsible directly to the Maintenance Supervisor for:

Quality and quantity of productCompletion of all assigned tasksTools and equipmentAdherence to all Company policiesPerforming all work according to Company safety policies, recognized industry standards, and follow at all times what is known to be safe practices

Diversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way.

During your apprenticeship, you will learn how to:

Work from and read electrical and electronic schematic drawingsLayout, install, and maintain a wide variety of complex electrical equipmentEstablish secondary distribution centers, balance loads, and wire circuits having a large number of units and connectionsCompletely lay out and/or wire a relocation, new, or rebuilt machineDiagnose, remove, replace, and periodically maintain electrical motorsAbility to give detailed descriptions related to troubleshooting and repair of equipment on a PC based systemPerform all work in accordance with State and Local requirements.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 18 years of age

The pay range for this position is $33.67-$39.99 hourly.  The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location.

 At Brunswick, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the salary range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidate’s qualifications and the business context.
