Find your purpose as the Nights Maintenance Engineer at the St. Cloud Hospital.  The Maintenance Engineer performs duties related to preventative maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, electronic, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment. Also includes steam, gases, air, vacuum, water and sewage lines. Duties may also include construction or renovation. May be assigned to shift work for 24-hour coverage of maintenance needs. 

Schedule:

Full-time 80 hours every 2 weeks Nights, Sunday-Thursday 3:30p-12:00a

Pay & Benefits:

This is a union position paying $36.40/hr Full time benefits: medical, dental, PTO, retirement, employee discounts and more!

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED or equivalent required. Technical knowledge/experience in building systems and equipment required. Must have good computer, written and verbal skills. DOT Health Card issued by the Employee Health Services Department at the St. Cloud Hospital may be required.  Technical or trade school preferred. Driving record in good standing. A valid Minnesota Class D driver’s license required.

Core Functions:

Preventive maintenance, inspect, test and repair equipment. Calibrate / adjust equipment as necessary. Repair or replace defective parts.  Lubricate and clean equipment. Install new equipment. Provide data needed for ordering parts and/or order parts.  Maintain pertinent documentation including accurate and timely updates to work orders with asset information and work completed details in the work order management system. Other duties as assigned.
