Robert Bosch is hiring a Maintenance Engineer in Florence, KY. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will lead maintenance planning, system procurement, and preventive strategies to ensure high equipment uptime and a smooth transition from development to production. This is a direct-hire opportunity.
Benefits of the Maintenance Engineer 401(k) 401(k) matching Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Shift Information Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Availability required for occasional off-hours support to perform critical machinery maintenance Required Education and Experience Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, maintenance, or production support roles Experience with Manufacturing and Assembly Equipment (MAE) design Strong understanding of TPM, planned/unplanned maintenance, and system procurement processes Preferred Education and Experience Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, TPM, and standardized work principles General Requirements Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel Experience with CMMS and maintenance tracking systems Familiarity with Bosch Quote system and E-works for ordering parts Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Excellent verbal and written communication abilities Team-oriented with strong leadership and mentoring skills Interest in predictive maintenance and data analytics tools Essential Functions of the Maintenance Engineer Maintain and prioritize maintenance work in CMMS Coordinate weekly planning meetings with cross-functional teams Schedule and oversee preventive maintenance tasks Create, improve, and maintain PMs/PdMs for equipment reliability Train team members on CMMS functionalities Support implementation of Total Productive Maintenance (MM-630.14) Ensure equipment BOMs are accurate and initiate spare part requests Build and manage equipment structures and risk assessments in CMMS Identify opportunities for predictive maintenance based on data analysis Provide maintenance KPIs including PMs, breakdowns, and equipment availability Review and clean up work notifications monthly, ensuring quality data Plan resources, tools, and materials for maintenance activities Track and analyze trends in cost, downtime, and equipment availability Develop and post maintenance performance metrics Collect and package technical documentation for planned maintenance tasks Contact & Additional Information
