Maintenance Engineer

**Key responsibilities of this role include:**
+ Performs maintenance and repairs work in all general areas, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry and painting and the ability to prioritize
+ Responsible for preventative and corrective maintenance on daily, weekly monthly, semi-annual and annual basis, depending equipment
+ Must be able to maintain documents and records for preventative maintenance
+ Work may occasionally be assigned across other Northwest Health facilities
+ May be required to work variable shifts, weekends and holidays, as needed
+ Reports to immediate supervisor
+ Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision
This is a manual work position at the journeyman level in the installation, maintenance and repair of plumbing and heating systems. Work involves performance of skilled plumbing tasks in maintaining, repairing and servicing a variety of fixtures and equipment. Routine maintenance, service and repair work is performed independently. Assignments are normally received orally or through written work orders. Work is inspected on completion for conformity to instructions and quality of work.
**Key qualifications to be considered for this include:**
+ High School Diploma or GED
+ Required to obtain Arkansas High Pressure Boiler’s license within 6 months from hire date
