HVAC Technician

Job Description

Responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of facilities. Facility systems include all mechanical, electrical, plumbing and utility systems installed in/on the customer’s property and facilities. This includes all HVAC systems, electrical equipment, building controls, and life safety equipment.

ResponsibilitiesMaintain and repair HVAC systems, electrical equipment, building controls, and life safety equipment.Use hand and power tools for minor plumbing/pipefitting, electrical work, and carpentry.Read blueprints and perform mathematics related to facility equipment operation.Install, maintain, repair, and test equipment for base building HVAC, drywall, and facility support.Ensure the safe operation and maintenance of all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and utility systems.Essential Skills3 years of experience demonstrating mechanical aptitude through job experience or vocational schooling.Working knowledge of hand and power tools, minor plumbing/pipefitting, electrical work, carpentry, blueprint reading, mathematics, and facility equipment operation.3-5 years of experience with a refrigerant recovery license and HVAC certification.Ability to operate a company vehicle safely with a valid state driver’s license and a clean driving record.Additional Skills & QualificationsHVAC certification/schooling degree608 Universal certificationExperience with industrial and commercial HVAC systemsKnowledge of electrical wiring, boiler, air conditioning systems, and troubleshootingAbility to run conduit and interpret schematicsPay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00
