**Job Title: Panel Builder**

**Job Description**
As a Panel Builder you will be responsible for the assembly of electrical panels and harnesses per work instructions. You will wire the panel to match the electrical drawings exactly, in a neat and orderly fashion, and identify all associated parts and assemblies, including Altronic components. You will use hand tools like crimpers, wire strippers, ferrule crimpers, screwdrivers, and nut drivers, as well as a cordless drill for drilling and tapping holes. You must be able to read a tape measure and make calculated dimensions as needed, ensuring that all connections are tight and torqued to specifications.
**Responsibilities**
+ Assemble electrical panels/harnesses per work instructions.
+ Wire panels to match electrical drawings exactly.
+ Identify all associated parts and assemblies, including Altronic components.
+ Use hand tools such as crimpers, wire strippers, ferrule crimpers, screwdrivers, and nut drivers.
+ Operate a cordless drill for drilling and tapping holes.
+ Read a tape measure and make calculated dimensions as needed.
+ Ensure all connections are tight and torqued to specifications.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience as a panel builder or assembler.
+ Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
+ Mechanical aptitude.
+ Ability to read and understand basic electrical diagrams and schematics.
+ Ability to build and wire electrical control panels from layouts, schematics, and bills of materials.
+ Capability to lay out cabinets and subpanels, drill, tap, and assemble.
+ Possession of own hand tools for wiring: wire strippers, cutters, crimpers, screwdrivers.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Ability to work with minimal supervision.
+ Familiarity with control panel wiring and machine building.
+ Knowledge of schematics and blueprints.

**Work Environment**
The work environment is very clean, with working hours from 8AM to 5PM, including two 20-minute breaks and a 1-hour lunch break. You will receive one month of training before starting regular duties. The dress code includes jeans, comfortable shoes, and a T-shirt. This position has the potential to become long-term, although there are no guarantees.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Willoughby, Ohio
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
