**Job Title: Maintenance Engineer ($33/hr-$37/hr)** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in setting up and maintaining equipment, providing assistance for new machinery development, and performing preventive maintenance on a scheduled basis. The role requires troubleshooting, diagnosing symptoms, and effecting repairs with minimal supervision. **Responsibilities** + Set up and maintain equipment, complete with tooling, in multiple work areas. + Provide assistance for the development of new machinery or equipment. + Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and/or tooling daily or as scheduled. + Troubleshoot, diagnose symptoms, and effect repairs with minimal supervision. + Check and adjust for acceptable quality levels. + Utilize special maintenance skills such as welding, pipe fitting, lubrications, hydraulics, pneumatics, minor electrical, carpentry, and use of tool room machines. + Furnish all tools necessary to efficiently perform job duties. + Exercise reasonable attention, care, and judgment to prevent personal injury and equipment/tooling damage. + Maintain working knowledge of plant facilities. + Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor. + Maintain housekeeping of the assigned work area. + Exercise the right and responsibility to shut down production in the event of a safety or quality issue. **Essential Skills** + Experience with PLC troubleshooting + Proficiency in hydraulics and pneumatics + Electrical troubleshooting skills + Maintenance technician experience **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Associate's Degree + 3-5 years of experience + Automotive experience **Why Work Here?** We offer direct hire opportunities with benefits starting from day one, including PTO, 401K with matching contributions, Health Savings Accounts, Flexible Spending Accounts, and comprehensive dental, vision, accident, life, and health insurance.
