SUMMARY: The Engineer I is responsible for the timely maintenance and operation of major fixed asset equipment, both physical and mechanical throughout the property.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Handles all work orders pertaining to the maintenance and operation of major fixed asset equipment, both physical and mechanical, throughout the property. Has working knowledge of the physical and mechanical systems on the property, to include (but not limited to) the boilers, chillers, pumps, air handlers, plumbing distribution systems, fire protection systems, electrical distribution systems, motors, controls (both electric and pneumatic), kitchen and restaurant equipment, mechanical and non-mechanical systems and equipment, compressors, refrigeration equipment, and air conditioning equipment. Responsible for keeping accurate records (work orders, logs, reports) of all maintenance performed. Maintains a safe working environment, compliant with all OSHA guidelines. Performs related tasks as required by the Chief Engineer or the Director of Facility Operations. Must Exhibit the Family Style Service model to all Guests and Team Members.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or equivalent required. One to three years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must possess and be able to maintain the applicable License(s), if necessary.
OSHA Certification required.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must be able to effectively communicate in English. Must be able to write reports and read and write simple lists, interoffice memorandums, and business correspondence.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
COMPUTER SKILLS
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
