Job Summary
As a Maintenance Engineer Mechanical LTO/IER, you are responsible for the technical reliability of the Mechanical and Civil Manufacturing installation. Your aim is to further optimize the technical capability and reliability of the manufacturing installation, in line with profitability and EHS&S compliance.
Essential Functions
• Be an active member of the IER/LTO team, co-creating and shaping the direction for the discipline on site.
• You design and optimize the maintenance plans and advise the Reliability Manager in strategic maintenance plans.
• You create, monitor and discuss the Key Performance Indicators for your area of expertise: Mechanical.
• You will give second line support in case of complex technical failures, participate in Root Cause Analyses, and advise in optimization of technical capability.
• Initiate and drive improvements in the way of working within Maintenance IER/LTO.
• You deliver operational support to the plant by doing research studies and building knowledge of your area of expertise.
• You monitor developments within your area of expertise with respect to legal regulations and discuss recommendations with colleagues/management to improve our technical capability.
• Take care of documentation and filing of all relevant technical information and communicate to stakeholders/colleagues.
• Connect with stakeholders internally and externally to be successful in IER/LTO in our Manufacturing Organization.
• You assure a significant contribution to our Site culture change program which is fully aligned with the Avient values.
Education and Experience
• A Bachelor Degree education in Mechanical Engineering
• You have 3-5 years of experience within Manufacturing
Additional Qualifications
• Good knowledge of the Manufex work processes, the coherence and their interlinks, specifically Maintenance
• Good knowledge of SAP- PM
• You show an excellent track record of EHS&S and EHS&S behavior, you own a VCA certificate
• You possess excellent communication skills, are pro-active, curious and flexible
• You have the mindset and behavior to continuously improve
• You are Dutch speaking
