About you and this role

At Dow Terneuzen (Netherlands), we are looking for a Maintenance Field Planner!

As a Maintenance Field Planner for the furnaces, you create work packages based on the work order, which contain all the information about the required labor, materials, and services to ensure safe, effective, and efficient execution of the work. This role requires broad technical skills in analytical/scientific methods or operational processes to perform a range of defined activities.

Responsibilities

You use feedback from the executor to optimize work plans.You assess work orders for technical completeness and return work orders to the gatekeeper if they are not complete.You conduct field checks, if necessary.You prepare work packages and enter the plan into SAP, specifying the required resources, materials, and services, and create the associated purchase orders.You identify task activities needed to execute the work plan and identify materials/tools/equipment needed to perform tasks.You identify/consult safety information and requirements needed to perform tasks safely.You support the Maintenance Procedure Use Policy by ensuring that all work packages contain a procedure or that the task is on the Procedure Exemption list before the work package is released.You check that all maintenance procedures include a risk analysis.You act as a technical resource during the drafting and review of procedures, if necessary. You create, develop, modify, and update work procedures and checklists, and initiate procedure Management of Change (MOC), if necessary.

Qualifications

You have a technical MBO-4 diploma, preferably in mechanical engineering.You have relevant work experience with furnaces.You have at least 5 years of experience in maintenance, production, or another related field.You are fluent in Dutch (speaking, writing, reading) and have a good knowledge of English (reading and writing)

You are strong in setting priorities.You know how to motivate and persuade people, and bring structure.You are methodical and communicatively strong.Knowledge of SAP.Familiar with piping specifications and material codes.
