Are you a Maintenance Fitter looking for a new permanent challenge with a major rolling mill company who are specialists in copper coil worldwide? If yes, we want to hear from you!
Annual Salary: £48,000
Annual Holidays: 25 days plus bank holidays
Weekly Shifts: 4 on/off - 6am to 6pm / 6pm to 6am
Key Responsibilities:Maintenance and repair of rolling mills, slitters and other machineryPlanning and undertaking scheduled PPM'S (planned preventative maintenance tasks) in relevant timeframes.Pro-active to call outs / breakdowns / line stoppages in timescales agreed.Diagnosing faults & repairing equipmentCreating a spare parts solution planMonitor breakdown and repair data using in house computer systemEncourage continuous improvement and highlight deficienciesAttend meeting and training courses as requiredEnsuring that all machinery and equipment runs efficiently at all times with minimum downtime.Providing support to maintenance team, including coaching and mentoring staffQualifications/Experience required: City and Guilds Level 3 or equivalentEngineering apprenticeship3 plus years as a Mechanical Engineer in heavy steel environment
