Job Description

The Maintenance Fitter is responsible for maintaining all equipment at Youfoodz. Maintenance performed is both scheduled preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance, responding to breakdown calls from production staff. The Maintenance Fitter will also assist with capital projects as required.

You will…

Perform preventative maintenance work as scheduled Respond to calls from production staff to fault find and rectify equipment and machinery faults Follow all processes and procedures during the course of your work to satisfy quality requirements and processes Assist with the stock maintenance of critical spares Assist in the development of processes and procedures for driving continuous improvement to reduce machinery downtime and improve efficiency Report on daily findings and activities during shift handovers Any other duties as reasonably required or directed Assist with capital projects and new installations as required

You have…

5 years of experience in maintaining electromechanical machinery 3 years of experience in food industry maintenance Experience and understanding of HACCP and GMP Experience and understanding of automated machinery Metal fabrication ability Stainless TIG welding

Start Date: Immediately available - Can wait a notice period

Duration: Permanent full time role. You must have the right to work full-time in Australia

Roster: Wednesday - Saturday 05:00 - 15:00

Location: Karawatha, Brisbane
