                                      Automotive Maintenance ForemanTransdev in Sayreville, New Jersey is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Maintenance Foreman to join our team. The Automotive Maintenance Foreman will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of our technician team, ensuring the timely and efficient diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of vehicles and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional service.Transdev is proud to offer: $30 - $32 per hour based on experience. Benefits include: Medical, dental & vision, life insurance and 401k retirement benefits after 90 calendar days of employment for full-time employees.Vacation: one week; Sick: 5 days; Holidays: 8 days after one year of employment for full-time employees.Paid Training$2,000 Sign-On Bonus*Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and prioritize the workload of the technician team, assigning tasks and ensuring that all work is completed in a timely manner.Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and techniques to identify and troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles and equipment.Manage inventory levels of parts and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels to support maintenance and repair activities while minimizing waste and excess inventory.Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, and other components, adhering to manufacturer specifications and industry standards.Supervise the evening shift while completing repairs.Work with Operations to ensure proper number of vehicles are ready for pullout each day.Monitor expenditures versus budget.Other duties as required.Qualifications: Minimum of 4 years of experience as an automotive technician, with demonstrated proficiency in diagnosing and repairing automotive engines and related systems.Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable.
