Opportunity Snapshot:

Compensation: $42-50/hourLocation: Monahans, TXAssignment Duration: 12 months+Work Schedule: M-F / 40 hoursBenefits: Comprehensive insurance with 401(k), Holidays and PTO Responsibilities PSM knowledge in gas plant and compressor station settingsDevelop and maintain an excellent working relationship with supporting departments, and promote a continuous improvement mind setContractor oversight and safety managementParticipate/lead risk assessments and hazard observationsSolicit bids/estimates for maintenance projectsMaintains and organizes cost tracking and project documentationMaintain safety culture and quality standardsIdentifies business value and other opportunities to improve overall work and project efficienciesPlan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be metParticipate in the conceptual development of a construction/maintenance projectMonitors contractor’s work for compliance with schedule, budget, quality, safety, and overall conformance with contract documentsOversee and supervise project closeout including final paperwork, job walkthrough and any other follow up itemsProvides direction, support, and acts as a resource for the director of construction to ensure that all needs are addressedEnsures compliance with company, industry, trade, and jurisdictional safety standards, practices, codesParticipates in PSSRsPromote the identification of problem areas, root causes and develop a root cause analysis and lead in developing creative solutionsManage multiple projects concurrentlyMonitors contractor productivities and man power to ensure timely project completionThey will perform project oversight and steward 3rd party contractor activitiesActively interacts with project planning, bidding/estimating, cost tracking, scheduling, effective & timely communication, alignment with business practices/controls and a high level of site maintenance activitiesPlans, leads, and coordinates all activities associated with the overall execution of assigned construction project (proficient with cranes, pressure testing, purging, welding, coatings, etc.)

 

Qualifications High School Diploma or GED requiredBasic knowledge of mid-stream operationsStrong safety culture and ability to oversee contractor safety managementMust have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record Demonstrate competent skills using Microsoft office, Excel, Project and similar applicable programs.Some holiday or weekend work may be required
