Essential Responsibilities:
Forecast and coordinate and the required preventive maintenance of any on site project heavy equipment, as well as any unanticipated repairsSchedule required equipment inspectionsAssist in diagnosing faults or malfunctions and repair or replace defective parts, components or systemsWork collaboratively with Equipment Maintenance Supervision and project construction TeamsDemonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, and streamline work processesInterpret work orders, technical manuals and write service reportsOrganize the ordering of any required heavy equipment parts and consumablesMaintain working maintenance scheduling documentsRequirements:
Minimum 3+ years of supervisory experience in a civil construction environmentMust be an Interprovincial Red Seal or Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician ticket from a recognized provincial training authorityMust have experience maintaining and repairing Caterpillar, John Deere & Komatsu and various other pieces of construction equipmentMust successfully complete a full pre-access medical including a drug and alcohol testValid Driver’s License and Driver's AbstractCSTS-2020Work Conditions:
Project to commence in April 2025Work schedule: 5 days on, 2 days off (10-hour shifts) or 14 days on, 7 days off (10-12 hour shifts) - both rotations are subject to change dependent on the scheduleExtended health benefits provided by CLACAdditional Information
