Job Requirements

he Maintenance technician is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate


resolution of any hotel property maintenance concerns, in conjunction with the


Company’s policies and procedures.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities


 Complete minor work orders such as replacing ceiling tiles, filters, light


bulbs, patching vinyl, painting, and repair of pipelines, toilets, sinks kitchen


and laundry equipment, etc.


 Ensure that assigned equipment is operational


 Refurbish furniture and fixtures within guest rooms such as cabinets, tables,


chairs, doors, windows and counters and paint and finish furniture and


fixtures in guest rooms, if needed


 Maintain the front entrance area, parking lot and/or garage, and street


entrance in a clean and presentable manner and maintain the safety and


cleanliness of the exterior of the facility, grounds, pool and exercise/sport


facilities (including property signs and lighting)


 Make a record of all completed and incomplete jobs


 Follow prescribed safety procedures for personnel and equipment by the


company and OSHA


 Work closely with the Housekeeping Department to see whether or not


there are any Engineering/Maintenance requests to fill and ensure these are


carried out in a timely manner


 Any other related duties that may be assigned from time to time


Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)


 High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Related technical school


degree preferred


 Prior building maintenance experience required


 Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, and life safety


operating systems


 Ability to troubleshoot electrical and other technical problems


 Ability to multitask, work in a fast paced environment


 Strong attention to detail and ability to interact and assist guests, colleagues


and other departments



Work Experience

Salary: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
